Friday Link Love & a New Twitter Name

Hey guys, check out my post today over at Making Sense of Cents about living with a minimalist kitchen.

Friday is here once again and I’ve got some exciting news!

For those of you who don’t know, my twitter name (myalternatlife) wasn’t my first choice. I had to pick it because the version I would’ve preferred (myalternatelife) was already taken. Unfortunately, it wasn’t taken by just anyone, it was taken by a nudist.

When I was a newbie blogger, I didn’t see what is now glaringly obvious to me: That on a regular basis, people trying to tweet to me, would accidentally tweet to or follow the nudist.

I would’ve changed my twitter name sooner, but many of my preferred options were already taken.

Finally, when Catherine from Plunged in Debt tweeted to me that she’d mistakenly referred yet another innocent bystander to the nudist, it was the last straw.

So, my new twitter name as of today, is myalternateblog. Spread the word! Tell your friends! If you haven’t already, follow me!

Hopefully this will put a stop to all of the nudist nonsense.
